0084 – Wenger Ranger 06 (Mountaineer)

This is the 120mm Wenger Ranger 06, also called the Mountaineer. It’s the earliest version of the Ranger series, produced from around 1990 until 2007, when it was replaced by the 130mm Ranger series. Distinctive for the 120mm Rangers is the large clip point blade, which is uncommon for Swiss Army Knives. The clip point blades were discontinued on the new 130mm rangers so if you like clip point blades, stockpile some of the old 120mm Rangers!

As you can see the Ranger 06 has a slide lock system to prevent the large blade from accidentally folding.

0083 – Wenger PocketGrip (SOLD)

This knife is no longer in my collection

This is a red 85mm Wenger PocketGrip. It has non folding pliers, a hex bit driver and bits.

A cartridge holding six hex bits is located under the handle:

These bits go in a bit extender that is on the bottom side of the knife:

The (magnetic) extender holding a bit can be placed in the metal plier casing on the back of the knife, like this:

Apart from the pliers and bit-driver set, the knife also has some of the more common Swiss Army Knife tools:

0082 – Victorinox Money Clip

This is a red 74mm Victorinox Money Clip with smooth alox scales.

As you can see the scissors have the adjustable screw pivot. Victorinox stopped using those in 1991 (they use rivets since then), so this knife is at least 25 years old!

On the back of the knife is a money clip.

0080 – Victorinox Outdoorsman (Marlboro)

This is a red 91mm Victorinox Outdoorsman with Marlboro logo. These were made for the Marlboro cigarette company and were available through their Marlboro Unlimited catalog.

Because the Marlboro logo is on the front, the Victorinox shield moved to the backside.

0079 – Victorinox Delemont Esquire

This is a red 65mm Victorinox Delemont Esquire. This model was initially made by Wenger (it has the Wenger style scissors) but after Victorinox took over Wenger they continued some of the original Wenger knives as the “Delemont series”. 65mm isn’t a common size for Victorinox knives.
